E85 on a blow through set up, Im sure no intercooler would work fine, for an EFI car, I would lean to some kind of intercooler.
is your IAT in the path of the injectors? ie, does it see the cooling effect of the fuel, or is it before the injectors like most setups?

reason I ask is I read where a guy went from 200degs on c16 to 120 on e85

also, did you guys run it both ways, Ie intercooled vs non intercooled. was there a significant difference in performance?

The IATs increased too fast for us to feel comfortable in testing the performance of non intercooled.

Not sure how we could get the IAT sensor after the injector on this motor, maybe bolt it to the valve?

thanks for the reply. you answered my question: those intake temps did not account for any cooling effect of the fuel

How would the fuel affect the INTAKE temps?

did you use a coolant hose of a truck for your intake piping to the turbo ?
if you did, keep an eye on it, it might be collapsing in under boost and affecting the amount of air the turbo should be taking in.

Define intake? lol

Well, anything from the air filter up until air goes through the intake valves and into the combustion chamber. Care to explain how the fuel is going to have ANYTHING to do with the IAT sensor or intake in general?

fuel cools down the air. e85 does a much better job at this than pump gas or race gas. Methanol does an amazing job.
matter of fact, even water sprayed into the INTAKE cools down the air

You need to go read up. You're almost there, but not quite. But... I get the gist of what you are saying. Its just not quite right.

It's a hose that maxxmitchell had on his car that we ended up using on mine, we watched it on the dyno and it never collapsed, never had an issue at 14.5lbs in his car and I'm only running 11lbs. It won't be on there this year, setup is a little different.

The pan has now been modified so I can lower the car back down and not worry about hitting it. Yes I used a truck harness.

What are you running for rear suspension? Any pics? How about pics of how you have the I/C set up?

4 link and I don't think I really have any good pics of the old I/C setup, it was just smashed up against the radiator, TIGHT fit. I'm now running a bigger radiator and procharger twin intercoolers this year.
