No, it looks great. I'm just saying that if the motor flexs THAT much, the DP routing will become a problem before anything else. Strapping the motor down or running a solid mount would resolve anything that you come across at that time.

Cool project, lookin' forward to the progress, I might have missed it, but what manifolds did you use there?

What size are the turbos?

Cool, thanks for the heads up!

Great project! Did you make the flanges for the C6 manifolds or did you get them some where?

Thanks. I cut them on the Plasma table out of 1/2" stainless.

Time for a little update. I think I finally have all my parts! (hopefully) Dropped the driveshaft off today, 3 bar map came in and some new O2 sensors. Only thing I would like to get is a replacement wideband sensor for the Dynojet wideband commander.

I wraped the manifolds with welding blanket that I cut into 2" strips. This stuff is good up to 3000* or so. I know it's ugly, but it's free and I need something on there because of the spacing to the master cyl. I want to get the bugs worked out and make sure there is no issues before I get everything coated with white lightning from Swain tech.

Both turbo's are mounted up for the final time (hopefully)

I relocated the regulator and ran all the oil lines.

Next issue is getting the lower radiator hose figured out. Ended up making a 90 out of some aluminum pipe and welding it to the radiator. I welded a tap block in it while I was at it so I can drain it without making a mess.

While I'm working on the radiator, I might as well polish it

All better now

That regulator placement may not work out. There will be lots of heat under there. Doesn't take much to boil fuel. Don't think that -6 looking return line is gonna be enough either. What pump are you going to run?

Got the BOV welded in and IAT installed in the charge pipe.

You can see the lip of the IAT is actually sitting the the top edge of the radiator. Since It's a press in sensor I wanted to have a way of keeping it in there if the pressure get to intense

Got the charge pipes cut and fit too. Jut got to weld them up now.

I was thinking of that, but it is the lesser of 2 evils. If I put it on the inner fender where it was, then it's only inches away from the turbo/manifolds. Not really sure where else to put it.

I'm running an A1000 pump, same fuel system I had with the nitrous motor. Why do you think a 3/8" return is too small? So far it has worked well for me. It's been like that for 7 years now. I figure since I'm doubling the size of the injectors and consuming more fuel with the engine the return line will be even less of a factor.

Thanks,
Frank

You can screw it right into the end of one of the rails. The -6 return line is going to add to your hot fuel problem also. I tried running just one -6 return to the tank with my Magnafuel Mp-4301 pump. I was boiling the fuel in the tank and cavatating the fuel pump causing it to overheat. I ended up putting a -6 male T right after the regulator and adding a second return line. Haven't had a problem since.

I took your advise and ended up spending the day relocating the fpr. The more I thought about it the less I liked it where it was. It's easier to do it now then when the car is all done. Here is what I ended up with.

Fuel comes from the pump into the Y then into the rails, to the regulator, then back to the fuel cell.

why not just do a weld-in bung and use a syclone IAT sensor?

Cause I'm cheap and I had a stocker on my shelf If I had your money I'd have a gold plated screw in syclone sensor
