No. One inlet is almost touching the k-member. With frame/k-member notching it could be possible. However this car is very clean, never see's the rain unless its parked outside the shop, and screens are suitable.

Inlets are possible, but you would have to drop the k-member to install them/remove them. In addition to the extreme hassle, the fabrication time alone would cost more than the upgraded turbos.

Its not rain that hurts stuff its dust and there is a tremendous amount of dust present in the air at all times. Again if this car is street driven at all and not just 1/4 mile car where you maybe put 20 actual miles on the car a year I strongly recommend you find a way to get some air filters on there. Buy the custom bmr kmember ,think up something.

But anyway nice to see that the setup works great and produces great power and torque. It is curious to see some very different numbers in terms of torque from these various combos. I wonder if some of the variation is do to the actual turbos or to other things in the combo like cam selection, head selection, etc and also maybe tuning since pretty sure timing makes a huge difference in torque production.

Awesome build, Makes me wish I'd gone for a bigger cube instead of sticking with stock bore LS1

I think a lot of the success comes from combination.

Every boost level on the Eboost II is set at 14 degrees. Yes, 14. This is with the APS intercooler, C16, and NO methanol. The setup is simple, but very effective. Katech 402, AFR's with Patriot Xtreme Springs/Retainers, Comp Cam, APS Base kit with upgraded turbos (non LG), 6 speed, 12 bolt.

The 402 cubic inches, small cam with good turbo specs, proper valvetrain, and a meticulous speed density tune provides instant power while pulling 6200 RPM. It will pull to 6500, however the camshaft really stops making power right over the 6k mark.

I don't have the graph hosted, however, we have looked at numerous cars and overlayed the information. 1000 rwhp mod motor cars, turbo vipers, TT LSX based setups (non APS) and nothing comes close to this car. Not only does it make great power, but it is NASTY on the street. I have to give it to APS, the kit is very well thought out and engineered. We did have to machine some spacers for the sway bar to clear, and upgrade the turbos, but with the cast manifolds, incredibly small inlet (t28 or so), tiny turbine wheel, and a GT35r compressor, these things will make power and be reliable. The only thing I worry about is the backpressure and stress on the turbine wheel itself.

This car truly drives like a minor H/C car, it just happens to make 1000 rear wheel. Great streetability, good gas mileage while not in boost, and breaks the tires loose in 4th. We had two people in the hatch on the dyno just to keep the car from breaking crazy loose.

I'll try to answer any questions you guys have.

We already took care of the sway bar issue, the turbo issues, and BOV concerns.

The car has the BMR K Member... You say think something up? We have. The design is drawn out in detail. However, the cost of stainless, forming, fabrication, removal of k member, hanging inlets, and putting the k member back in is not cheap. Also, these turbos have a 3.25" inlet. If you reduce it down to a 3.0" or smaller, you are defeating the purpose of the larger inlets.

What kind of dyno was this?

I appreciate the bigger inlets and you have some good results. Maybe he can get filters on if he gets the custom bmr kmember instead and sells his like barnat did and I likely will. If not then guess he will have to live with screens. Not trying to start a big argument its his car of course and he can do what he likes.

How is your clutch holding up? I have a RAM twin as well and my clutch fluid is black after a handful of WOT pulls and the clutch gets really soft after two shifts. I am dreading the day I need to upgrade to an RPS triple carbon.
