Which gear would you run? ok thinking of purchasing a aps twin kit from a friend.
car: stock bottom end 02 SS has currently bolt ons & cam it is a 6 speed and WILL stay a 6 speed, 9" rear being built for it now but cant decide what gear would be best to go with. the car will not get slower only faster.
my driving: if its sunny shes out but shes not my DD though, raced in the street and local 1/8 and 1/4 tracks.
problem: new to forced induction and dont know what gear would be best for my app.
if you need any more info please ask.

it depends what you plan on having your trap speed at, and how big your tire is. you typically want to be at the top of your 1:1 gear with maybe a little room to grow when you're going through the traps. i run a 3.42, trapping around 150 currently with 28" tires.

Need to know (initial) desired trap speed, tire size. Then we can tell you where to gear it. If you drastically increase your trap speed in the future you should re-gear it.

With your 3.73 gears you're running, do u have an auto or a m6? My car's still under construction and i'm running those gears. I was wondering how my car's gonna perform (or close to it) with those gears and setup.
