Default I guess dreams do come true!!

Well I just bought myself a brand new, jetstream blue 2009 ZR1!!

this has to be the hottest thing ever, forget about the pics, in real this car looks INSANE!! There was a Ferrari 599, Porsche GT2, a Bently, and a few other cars next to me, and its like they didnt exist, no one was even looking at them, needless to say I got stopped 9 times today from all sorts of people asking me about the car, and how its like.

We got more Bugatti Veyrons than ZR1's over here, probably 10 ZR1's max, and you NEVER get to see any, so it is quite a rare thing to see.

Feels slower than I expected it to be, but it only has 50miles on the odometer, im sure it will get a little better after a 1000miles, ill throw in some catted headers (for the sound), and a tune, and call it done this time.

My red Z06 is still in the works and is closer to the final steps than ever before, according to my calculations, should do 850rwhp at about 1bar of boost.

Just liked to share, ill make sure I get some pics tomorow, if you got any questions go ahead

haha, I know what you mean, but I got a Z06 that has NOTHING stock in it, so I guess this one should stay as STOCK as possible at least. cruises smoother than a Z06, and the blower is whisper quite too.

im trying to figure out where is the A2W intercooler/radiator/oil cooler and some weird looking heat-sync pipe, its hard to figure out whats going on in there, at least not to soon.

I heard increases of about 25-30rwhp with a simple tune, and possibly with headers closer to 600rwhp which is amazing, really.

i watched a blue zr1 get dynoed and tuned. the peek gain was typical for a tune but the lower rpms gains were nuts. like 100ft/lbs nuts. not sure how it works but i guess there is some kind of boost control going on.

I'm glad to see you now have a Corvette you can drive. I felt sorry for you with all the set backs you have had with your other Corvette. Bob

man I get full boost at any RPM, but I know there is some sort of boost controlling on there. I can see that the car tries its best to stay out of boost, but once it boost kicks in it kicks in, you cannot transition VERY smoothly between vaccum and boost, which tells me there is something in there.

The tune on that car is so weird as well, it goes lean - rich - lean - rich etc... Im still trying to figure a few things out!!

Yep, saw one pulling into Discount Tire yesterday and you can definitely tell there's something special about it when you see it coming. I had to stop, back up into the parking lot and snap a quick pic! Congrats on yours!

You should really love the ttix car when it is up and going good. You know from what I see keep this one stock and just a driver and fun. With the ttix the real toy to play with. Man I love the ttix kit. Have fun with both.

Nice cars, sad to think that for what I have in my car, truck and trailer I could be driving one of those.

Congrats and enjoy it.

hahaha guys sorry I was having fun driving the car, I couldnt even find time to charge my damn camera, but I got a few phone camera pics (if those count as pics to begin with lol), ill upload them in a while, until I get the real pics.

Im a good photographer so expect some crazy *** ZR1 pics soon.

Also, I just tuned the car, got a tune from Jim@ SpeedInc, and damn, the car still has 800KM on the odometer and it flies already, should get even better after 1500KMs!
