Water/Alky???????
water basically makes the charge cooler, the alky will make it cooler and also add some octane benefits.
saves alot of money on race gas, will allow you to run higher boost with out using race gas
We also just added the complete systems to our website for online ordering.
If you have any specific questions, let me know.
Hope that helps.
Normally your gonna have a small tank of the the water/alky mix, and pump that will go to a few 'misting' nossles before your TB.
You can rig the pump to a switch or to a pressure switch that will come on when your boost reaches a certain level.
A Supra we worked on was running 15 psi from a single T76. Car made almost 900hp/ft-lbs, but detonation was limiting the cars power on pump gas. After we rigged up a small alky/water system the car's intake temps dropped almost 45 degrees, and we gained 65 hp across the entire rpm band.
If your wanting more power, then go for it, just make sure to keep it filled so you dont think u have it when u run the enigne hard.
Hunter
you really need to tune around the kit, the alky/water cools intake charge, and you have a higher octane mixture in your cylinders allowing the increase of timing and/or boost, and that is where the power comes from
