Default fmic on 3rd gen WS6 trans am

hey everyone i was wondering what your thoughts are on putting a front mount on my car, will i have to cut an opening or do you think i can make some sort of air damn under the bumper to get air to it?...or maybe take out my fog lights and run ducts to the fmic that way?i really don't want to cut the front bumper...I'm pretty sure my husband can fabricate something to where i don't have to cut...but we are looking for more opinions thanks everyone, and here are some pics of the car with the area's i am thinking about pointed out

I think dual intercoolers is the best way to go

Dont cut up that nice front bumper..... I'd like to have it for mine.

By putting a deflector (spoiler) under the radiator, it will push air up through the intercooler in front of the radiator.

i am not cutting the bumper...that would be stupid..haha...so you think my idea will work for the front mount?if not i will figure out some alternative like the side mounts...but i would prefer front mount...i live in florida so its hot and humid....and do you think it will cause lift to the front of the car at higher speeds?thanks for the help

Why not mount a FMIC horizontal like this (https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...c-project.html) unless thats not a option on a 3rd gen.

I mounted the intercooler right before the radiator. There was enough room to slide a 3" wide intercooler in front of the stock radiator. It has the stock air dam and stock radiator fan in place. This placement takes advantage of the airflow already being directed through the radiator. Also, the low IAT's tell me that the intercooler is doing its job.
