Default What is the baddest T4 76mm out there?

Like the title states,

There seems to be a 76mm limit on a lot of 275 racing, so what is the "bully on the block" for the 76mm T4 turbos?

It's going to mean i have to basically re-do a few parts on my charge piping/crossover/exhaust, but if it means i can get into some classes and still make good power, I'm willing to look into it.

They are head's up, but most are limiting turbo size to 76mm. The only one my car would slide into is the x275, but those guys are 5.0x-5.3, and I got NOTHING for them, ahhahaha

The Precision billet 76mm is the best compressor, but you could get the GT4502, which is a Garrett GT45 with the compressor from a GT4202.

Outlaw 275 is all heads up, with mostly only a weight and suspension limit.

He may be running some sort of local DR class that limits power added.

The classes Tims talking about are fairly new but are setup up more for street cars. The are still heads up but with stricter rules helping out guys who cant dump 60K into a full 270 unlimited car.

PM me a link to those class'es so I can check the rules out. I was thinking NMCA Street Radial class, but those guys dont want any turbo cars unless you running Outlaw or ProMod.

if he is talking about the ORSCA Hot street class, 76mm is the biggest single you can have, and you can not run any tire larger than a 275 drag radial

I am just not a big fan of 1/8th mile racing. Its a toss up at this point what the shop car is gonna be. May stick with True Street competitions.
