I am at 10.9 and am running 18 psi. Tuneing and meth are the most important part of a high static comp and boost.

Default 18 psi?

18 PSI? with 10.9 compression , thats crazy.

I would think the head gasket would pop, or piston break for sure,

what is your set up,, ?? Forged/built motor? how much power u making?

what kind of methanol u using, A/F ratio, timming???

please let us know

try changing the head gasket.

GO WITH A CUSTOM CAM to lower you're dynamic CR, built specifically for you're 12.5:1 CR and 5psi of boost goal.

then have a meth system that kicks in at about 0psi and anything above say 2500rpms. This way you will not only make use of the added boost, but will also have the ability to bump up timing in the non boosted region as well. WIN-WIN.

beleive it buddy, many of us have done this. You need the right cam, and this much compression can be run on the street.

new ferrari 458 runs 12.5:1 from the factory
