LS2 + T76, how much boost should I run
LS2 + T76, how much boost should I run I have a T76 with truck manifolds. LS2 ported heads, will be using a z06 cam. I haven't purchased the internals yet, but my CR will probably be around 8.75 or 9.
My wastegate springs are 11.6 psi. I'm assuming this should be completely reasonible for pump gas? Power in the upper 600's/lower 700's? Should I go with more or less boost. Really i'm not trying to squeeze every last bit of HP out of the car but i'd like to hit the 700 mark.
What do you think.

with that turbo ls6 cam and comp. that low you'll prob need at least 15psi. the cam will be the first to hold you back i think too, but a few guys here have made some good power with it. try a search

No kit, building my own, I pretty much did the hot parts for $1700 less than hinsons kit, probably doesnt flow as well due to the truck manifolds, but the cost benefit ratio wasn't worth it to me. Guys have made 1000+ with the truck manifolds.

Verdad Gallardo Well its stock rods/pistons right now, i have springs/pushrods/cam, which really doesnt matter, but i'm not going to run the turbo setup without forged internals.
Maybe i'll look into a custom cam. I've searched but most of the info is for LS1's or custom builds.
