I have ran the stock 6.0 and 7.0 GM gaskets to 20 psi for over 3 years with just ARP head bolts on both my ls2 and 408 turbo motors..truth be known I bet they are all made in same place as cometics..??? GM makes bad **** stuff..

I used these on my 5.3, so far so good. Seems like most the posts were for using them on a 6.0. I assume it was still the best gasket for forced induction for a 4.8 and 5.3 also. Yes or No? I run 15lbs of boost, stock bottom end.

Im guessing that since these are good to go on the 4.8's and 5.3's like others posted that there would be no reason to not run them on a stock bore ls1 (5.7) with untouched 243 heads then? Or is it because these guys are running the 317 heads that it makes it okay? Do you have to have the 317 heads to make these work or can you run others like a 241 or 243? Thanks

if this is the case, what would the CR be at if you use an LS1 5.7 stock bore and 243/799 heads untouched with the LS9 head gasket? stock ls1 is 10.1, ls6 is 10.5 i believe, so with the LS9 gasket....? casue if this lowers the CR by a bit but be abkle to still use the flow capability if the 243s and the slightly higher CR for low end torque on a boosted motor with a fairly large turbo, that would be a nice combo to use while using lower boost to get the same amount of power, moderate builds of course, not you 1000hp beasts out there lol
