IAT sensor placement
It seems to be very accurate from the scanning I've done so far. 
you using a fbody one i assume? the one from a typhoon or cyclone has npt threads and the same plug. you wont blow it out. but most people dont blow them out any ways. but side should be fine. i would go close to the tb
