Ninetres 10.5 Twins Build

BOY did my 2000hp intercooler come out nice. Dual 1000hp garrett cores, assembled by Aaron the intake elbow guy. Unbeatable price and weld quality! Another nice surprise is that it fits in the passenger side foot well, mostly under the dash! I was planning on mounting it in the back seat so this will make the plumbing much easier.

2. My class limits controllers to a single stage manual type controller, with no switch in the cab. They are afraid of the turbo efi cars running the class and discouraging nitrous guys from running.
I might keep my AEM on it since I don't use any of the scramble boost (controls ramp), or multiple max boost settings. I want to win by the rules, even though it is an electronic controller, I use it like a manual.
I still might pull it off and run a cheap amnual one.

1. Boost controllers don't make a car go faster

Anyways, I was just curious. Sick looking build, quite excited to see how it all comes together and hope you get your goals!

ah, didnt know the class rules. Boost controllers can help a car go faster though. I run the AMS-500, and having a lower "launch" PSI really helps (keeps me from just blowing the tires off) and then the 2nd stage ramps the boost quite fast and helps out a lot. Ive seen people pick up .2 by using an electronic boost controller on TTF. Is it the norm? probably not, but it does help with the traction issue lol.

I do have a 2 step to try to tame the launch down a tad.

That's at Russian's shop.....but I have XBOX too! Thanks for your patience on the 400. I'm taking good care of it until my car is done. If for some reason you get close to finsihing your car before I take my car to Rick, I'll ship the trans to you. You got my number.

He didn't know the rules for "non-sponsors". A member asked him where he got the material. He responed that he has an account with a supplier and can get him some. He didn;t get a scond chance lol.
Anywho, I picked my car up from his shop. I am going to have my buddy Matt who built all of my other turbo kits build the car.

You're telling me! Car has been sitting for the most part. Geting the headers to fit properly and flat was a huge PITA. Seems like that was the hardest part and the rest is just a matter of getting the hours in on it. I'll post pics up each week assuming we make it out there. We usually only get to the shop once a week at best.
