Default Factory style 3 bar map sensor

Is there such a beast? Problem is I'm using that Edelbrock Pro flo intake and it has a hole machined in it for a stock style map. It would be nice to be able to bolt one up.

Thanks,
Frank

Thanks, I did read that, but I'm looking to find out if there is a factory style sensor that is 3 bar. In other words one that would go into the factory location like the 2 bar cobalt ss sensor.

I did notice that the Duramax engines have a 3.3 bar map that looks like it may fit. Anyone know about these?

Thanks,
Frank

Tap the hole in the intake manifold with a 1/4 pipe tap and get a fitting that goes from 1/4 pipe to a 1/4 hose, get a piece of hose and use it to connect the map to the adapter! Bada Bing! Oh it works.. done it to a few cars.

I'm thinking I may end up doing something like that. I will just block that port with a pipe plug and use one of the other million port they put on this intake.

Delphi 2 bar - 09350899 (common 2.4/EcoTec S/C MAP)
Delphi 2 bar - 16235939 (same sensor as above)
Delphi 3.3 bar - 09373269 or 12215049 (same style sensor as above)
Delphi 3 bar - 12223861 or 12219935 (fat style sensor, like the GTP/Turbo Sunbird)

You are the man Jontall

Looks like that 3.3 bar sensor is the hot ticket! You guys think there is any difference between responce times or sensor quality etc. between the old style 3 bar and the new 3.3??

Do you have to use a pigtail with the 3.3 bar sensor?

It's a direct replacement and no pigtail is needed. You will need a 3 BAR tune though.

In HPT, what would you punch in for the MAP Sensor Linear value and the Map Sensor Offset value?

Do you need any extra connector to use 3-bar 12223861 on LS1/6 intake? Or just buy 12223861 and put it in place of old MAP?

Is 12223861 sensor connector different from our stock connector? Can I just rewire it to use with 12223861 ?

So, Delphi 3.3 bar - 09373269 or 12215049 will be a direct fit for F-body LS1 intake. Can anybody confirm that.

All you have to do is find out the new outputs are (ABC) which is ground, signal and 5v input. Run the wires properly. If it came with a plug just splice apporparitly.
