I just remembered, you have a stall. Lag isn't to bad...My FTI stall took .3-.4 off my 60 foot time. I didn't like it worth a damn on the street though. The lock-up clutch wasn't holding and I hated that it would stall 1500 at my tq peak putting me at no less than 5500 rpm all the time. It went back to greg. End of rant.
So anyway, why are you not considering the T-4 flange?

oh, lol, money is an object, a BIG one. BUT.... Im willing to spend a little coin to be satisfied, plus, i was already buying the new turbo, and when my current turbo sells, ill purchase the valve, or make one.
my neighbor is a machinist and mechanical engineer and builds things like this all the time in his spare time, and i pitched the idea to him and he was interested in checking it out.
so either way, ill be snagging one up.

Finally decided to start digging into things last night. and got 2 cuts in the process. lol.
couple things, removed intake and heads to get my first look at the pistons, well, the tops of them anywayz, and no visible damage on any of them. They look great, it was 1 am so i didnt bother turning the crank over to get a look at the cylinder walls of any of them except what was up.
go figure, number 5 was at the top, lol. ill give her a look today or something, but the new motor should be going to the machine shop next week for a .030 punch and hone, and a line hone with new cam bearings.
ill do everything else myself. just some dumb pics i took last night. I cant find my stupid little blue fuel line removal tool, so i couldnt take off the fuel rails, so i was fighting with them all night. lol
LMAO, it pays to have small friends, im 6'4" and 280lbs, hes like 5'7 or something, if that and skinny as a rail, just climbs right up in there. lol
as she sits now.
more to come, carnage pics will be a little ways off, as i dont have my engine stand at the moment, there is still an SBC on it.

WELL HELL YES!!! lol. i was bored and had some beers and a good friend was over, the little guy, lol. it was his idea, so we just tore into it. im gonna yank it when my engine stand frees up, my father inlaws dad, has it, and his SBC is on it, so, im not in any real hurry, really need to get my 6.0 to the machinist.
ill let you know when the swap takes place, if you wanna help, lol. Although, i def dont expect it.

Hawk, ive looked at his build pic 100s of times, lol. and never noticed that. good eye
yah eric, trailor hitch ???? lol
and no pics of the piston yet guys, i have to pull the motor apart first and i dont have my engine stand right now, my grandfather is using it to hold an sbc for his 57 chevy
ill be sure to get some pics, all the pistons looked great from the top, and the cylinder walls show no scaring and cross hatching is still good. So im assuming its ringland, and wonder what causes these issues. oh well
lq4 with arp rod bolts and head bolts will be in there till i decided whos building my motor. and possibly moving the turbo up front, i just bought welder so i dont know what the hell im doing now
oh, eric, i got the valve from Kyle over @ KB racing on here.

Jet ski...Matching Yellow of course.
Really? haha, in both of our cases, about #11 of boost on cast pistons is what causes this. hahaha
