Right now I have a 4l60. I'm in the works of getting a 4l80 or 85

I'm using my JDM 57mm turbos for mock up. my Garrett 60's are supposed to be here this week.

lookin good.

that old 5.3 was a mess, i am surprised there were no plants growing on it

you going to get a tranny cooler for it ?

Yes I am going to get a huge tranny cooler for it. Once I get the intercooler mounted where I really want it i'll see what size cooler I can run.

can you give any info on those injectors(size, cost, and how easy,or hard to install, and do the PCM need retune?) Also that gauge?? Nice work by the way.

The injectors are FAST 60lb, Cost was 250 through a friend of mine thats a whole saler, very easy to install on the FAST rails, yes the pcm will need a retune for them. the Gauges I have are the cobalt digital by autometer. cost on those were 130 each. I have fuel pressure and Boost. Also got those through my whole saler.

Ive also decided to ditch the truck manifold setup and go with Stainless works turbo headers.

deffintaly gona be a sweet ride. I have a k3500 with the L29 454 in it that im going to go a twins set up with it. very excited to see how everything fits under the hood

I'm hoping its fun to drive. When you start your twins on the 454 make a build thread. I'd really like to see how it fits aswell.

ditch the 4l60 and upgrade now, i blew my stocker, bought a built one, blew it, fixed it, and fuggan blew it again. ive now got nearly 5k tied up in a trans that might handle 500whp.

learn from my misfortune and upgrade now

I am going to upgrade. I decided yesterday. I've got my guys looking for one already with the stronger transfer case.
