forget the 4l60e. you have a heavy truck. it will not last

get a 4l80e

also it looks like your 4l60e was already replaced once judging by the marks the junkyard made on the torque converter

yes it has been replaced twice in 275,000. this transmission only has about 75,000 on it. I am going to put a 4L80 behind it as soon as I can find one.

Really like what you are doing, i have very little knowledge about AN fittings. Can you give me detailed info on your oil drain back for the pan, and oil psi adapter, also address the temp adapter? Thanks.

Most of the time extra clearance is added to the top ring for boost. I think this espcially true for pistons with the ring lands in stock location. It's not as critical if the top ring is moved down from a NA location as should be found on most forced induction pistons..

I take critisism very well. I will say I'm new to the LS world so any help I can get is appreciated.

Just curious, why did you ditch the truck manifold setup?

The manifold setup was changed just because of looks. They sat at different heights and one was further back then the other. I tried to convince him to just leave it, but it's his truck and he wants it to look nice aswell as perform.

I havn't completely done the oil lines on the turbos. I will be running 8an drains Y'd with a 8an to 12an and back in to the pan as pictured. for the feed I drilled and tapped the block off plate above the oil filter and i'll be using a 4an to dual 3 an T then run 3an to each turbo with a nitrous jet as a restrictor.

Hey Guys just thought i'd update my thread. I've been really busy on customer vehicles, street racing, and keeping my car running. it didnt help i've decided to install a bigger cam and add direct port nitrous on my car.

Anyway here is a pic of what i've acomplished this weekend. I made my custom fuel lines and installed my twin intank pumps.
