Anyone in St. Louis area running an F1 or F1A that I can listen to? They seem pretty loud on You Tube compared to D1 at idle but video cameras don't always get sound right.

Some noise would be OK but would like to be able to hear the radio.....

Here is a video of my F1 at idle and yes the F1 is louder than the D1. I wouldn't worry about the noise because the power from the F1 is crazy up top compared the D1.

The F1 series blowers are louder than a D1SC. But there are more factors that come into play. Where you place the bypass valve, and what type of bypass valve is used can make a big difference as far as sound.

buddies f1a cog setup cobra sounded like a freaking jet at idle. Of course, he was running 28psi as well.
