Always wondered this too, would be a nice combo on a 'belt slip' prone F-Body with a F series supercharger. The Vette guys make stupid HP with a F1R set-up/flip drive.

Surely some Camaro/Firebird owner has done this?

What about the "Aster" bracket? Any tests with F1R's / F1C's? Seems like belt slip shouldnt be to bad on it?

Never finished that project. I would like to see some pictures from someone who has done this though. Wish I could be more help.

Yes it fits, depending on what blower you go with you dont need to move the radiator.

Yea thats a cog drive, Plate mount setup...not what us guys run on the street lol. This was about mounting the blower in that same position using either the corvette bracket or some other way...feasible for a street car...that looks sick though.

Okay so if this guy can fit that huge f1r with a cog, tje a simple d1s cv or f1 blower should fit with the vette bracket plus I measured with a f1

Thats not fitting under a stock hood. That blower sticks up quite a bit. It looks like you'll need a 4" cowl probably.

Rufretic's (sp?) setup is nowhere near what this thread is talking about. Those pics should be taken out of this thread!

That is an F2. Stock hood doesn't fit. Still nobody with the Vette set up?

I believe that someone already tried this and he said the belt issues were worse with the Vette bracket on an F-body because of the way the accesories are. I wish I could remember his name on here.

I'm sure they could be measured on depth and the pulleys could be pressed or pulled to the proper depth. It would take some time but it could probably be done. Maybe I'll look into this once I get the car going and start a addition to my project lol.

Bunch of complainers. I have measured with a f1A blower it will fit. If anything you may have to dent your shock tower. The only reason I do not have it installed on my car right now is because another motor is being dropped in and there is no point in swapping to a vette drive on my current motor.

Oh. There is a chance you might have to move your radiator up. Depending on what blower you go with.

For the record it was a pin on ws9 hood.....stock enough

That's why you switch to the vette accesories and the flip drive

Cool man sounds good! Take some pics and post them up so everyone here can see how it works. I am sure if it works good then lots of guys will maybe switch over to it.

This is one thread I saw about it. There were a few more but the search turned up too many to go through. He had it on a conversion so it doesn't really count I guess but he had issues with it.
