23 psi from a D1sc, up from 15 psi, yet no improvement in times...WTF!

perhaps ur gains will show on a full 1/4 run and not an 1/8 mile run. what did u trap before and after? i'm w/ everyone else getter back on the dyno theres something up. and i dont know much but 25psi on D1 does sound a lil off.

It's not making 25. It hits 258 kpa, which is a hair less than 23. MPH has always been 100.

I'm gonna have to agree with you. That is an area where I could potentially pick some power up.
Also, I think I've found the limit of these 60lb injectors. I've run 2 different widebands on it (AEM and Innovate LM-1) and I can not get the fueling dialed in. My VE table is very smooth in the WOT areas, yet the log shows AFR boucing all over the place. It goes from 10.0 to 11.5 and back to 10.0 through out the entire run. My AFR line looks like the blade of saw swinging up to 2 full points at times. AFR does not respond to any changes in VE. Can't decide if I wanna try some of the "large" high imp. injectors or run a box with some 96's or something. I've got some research to do.

Get a versafueler box and some 96s. Any high impedence over 60lbers (from what I have read) do not really flow much more than 60's, and have issues.
I would contact Jon at the sponsor FIC. He really knows his **** and gave me a killer deal on a set of injectors last week (120s).

As for the common 75lb and 80lb advertised flowing High/IMP, I have read lots of the fuel vendors say stay away from them..... as the 60s will get you just as far with less issues.

I have heard fine things about the 80 high impedence and lots of guys seem to make good power with them. 60s would need some really high fuel pressures up at that power range.
I also happen to have a brand new set of 120s with aem box and adapter harness for sale if you are interested pm me. I was hoping to get e85 here and since don't look like its going to happen will be sticking with 80 high for now. I have not ran them yet ran 60s last season but the 80s will be going in next week or so.

You have a bunch of little issue's.You found what timing does(faster time) and found what an undersized fuel system does(same mph).This is what a load dyno would bring out.(reason I said hit it on a dyno)
A good step is getting rid of the 3" exhaust pipe.I'm also hoping you are not running 1 255L pump in the tank.You should definitely be running twin pumps.If it is 1 pump,more than likely you have a pump issue over the injectors.

Slowhawk, has it right. You have a lot of issues going on there. For the fuel system I would step up to adding another 255lph in there, possibly stepping up the feed line (depending on what you have), and throwing it on the dyno. With the small cam you have you could shim the springs to add some pressure which would help if you are having valve float issues. You need to see what is going on with the power curve.
In regards to the blower I haven't seen too many people push 23psi through a D1SC on a stock cubed setup. That is a lot of boost even with your ported heads. What RPMs is your blower seeing?

I agree, exhaust needs to be addressed. If I could confirm that the F-body Kooks do infact bolt up with no problems, I'll probably do that and a true dual 3" or something.
