Default powerdyne supercharger

I have a powerdyne silent drive supercharger and I am looking to sell it. It comes with the 98-02 Ls1 camero/firebird 6psi install kit minus the fuel pump and relay. I bought it already installed on my car and my best guess would be less than 5k miles on it. What could I look to get outa this? Thanks

around $1000. Your best bet is to sell it on ebay. If you get two guys bidding on it, you might see more money? I am assuming the head unit is a BD11a?

I ran one for a couple years with no problems. Some people have had belt or bearing failures, so don't expect a lot of positive input on powerdyne. You know how it goes, bad news travels faster than good news. The blower is quiet but it does not move as much are as the other popular models(CFM). Expect 400-425 hp with a mostly stock LS1 motor. You can do the same thing with heads and cam.

would it be possible for the belt to fail within first 5k miles? It was far from 400hp

Sure it could break with that mileage. There are now kevlar belts that are better. I have no idea when your unit was built or what belt it had. Do a search here and read what others have to say about that supercharger.
