Default Finally Got Dyno #'s With Maxed Out D1SC

Got the car on the dyno today.

Engine:
Forged Shortblock from EPP: Diamond pistons, Compstar Rods, ARP Main & Head Studs, Total Seal Rings

D-1SC Procharger, AFR 205's, EPP Front Mount Intercooler (31" x 12" x 4") (SD tune), 8-rib SDCE ( 7.25 crank, 3.4 Reichard Racing Blower Pulley) , Procharger Race Bypass, Alkycontrol, Siemens 60# injectors, Twin Walbro fuel pumps, 228/235 - 113 cam, LS6 Intake, Aeromotive FPR

Exhaust:
Texas Speed 1 7/8" Long Tubes, Texas Speed ORY pipe w/ merge, Magnaflow Catback w/ Center Mount Exhaust

Transmission:
Textralia Z-grip Clutch, Textralia 18lb Billet Flywheel, T-56 with Steel 3-4 Shift Fork, Carbon Fiber Blocking Rings, Tick Adjustable Master Cylinder, Polyurethane Trans Mount, B&M Ripper Shifter

Rearend:
Moser 9in, 31 Spline Axles, 3.70 Gears, Truetrac, PST Driveshaft

Lower numbers are street tune @ 13.5 psi with crappy procharger inlet hat/larger filter on.

Second pull is with inlet hat off and it maxed out 2 bar map sensor real early and appears to make around 16.5 psi

So basically the inlet was holding the car back by 90 rwhp!

BIG thanks to Steve aka Frost (www.tunedbyfrost.com) for tuning the car.....it is extremely drivable and is fast as hell now

I will also be getting a dual flash pcm so I can have both tunes on hand

Trying to get it to the track Saturday and see what it can do with the nittos

Is the blower maxed out on rpm with that pulley combo? What are you spinning it to? For some reason I dont think the blower is maxed out yet. Nice numbers!!....glad to see it finally got done lol...I've been waiting on this for awhile. I'm hoping to break 730ish with the hat on with my new 370 motor. You should look into running the truck inlet or a custom inlet and see what you can pick up.

Great #'s
How many RPM are you spinning the engine to max out the D1 with that pully combo? I'm swaping my 3.7" to a 3.4" pully with my SDCE 7.25 crank pully in a week or so, just curious what to expect.

Blower maxes out at 7000rpms but most dyno pulls were spun to 6600-6700 because it was difficult for me to gauge when to let off......lol

It is a handful on the street with the inlet hat on, so I am going to leave it on while driving on the street. I will run a screen at the track.

At 7000 rpms, blower is spinning at 61,200 rpms......max for a D1SC is 62k

Awesome! Those Nittos won't stand a chance. The CTS-V we built did several doughnuts last year for the customer on a two lane highway at 60 mph when the Nitto's broke loose. He was taking his local Caddy dealer's mechanic out for a ride at the time. M/T drag radials went on it after that. Bob

I'm trying to figure out my pulley combo now lol. I'm thinking 7.65 crank, 3.55 blower or 3.4, spinning to 7k on ocasion but probably not more then 6700 on the street. The 3.4 will put me at 645XX rpm. I wonder if thats ok? Not to much. The 3.55 will put me at 618XX. What do you think?

I think I will keep mine where its at. It's a handful on the street even with the inlet hat on.

I have read where a lot of people have over spun their blower and didn't have any problems but I am going to play it safe.

Edit:
Steve did the math and it appears max boost was 16.5 with hat off

It was on pump gas and meth for the street tune. We only added a degree of timing or so to the race tune, leaned it out a few tenths, and got a few more psi from the removed hat. We did add a few gallons of 104 mixed in with the 93 to be extra safe but it never was even close to knocking.

We are working on the videos
