Pick up the truck inlet from bob and see what she does. A couple of people have done that and picked up a little bit. I bet it'll put you over 700 with the hat and filter. She sounds like shes a handfull on the street though lol.

I bet you will pick up AT LEAST another 40rwhp with a cutout. Im running 1 3/4 pacesetters w/ ORY into a spiral flow to a center mount also. I picked up 70rwhp opening up the cutout with the stock intake hat on @ 15psi.

How did you make it? Where did you get the supplies, I'm pretty handle, so I can probably make something similiar with some info.
Thanks, awesome build

so i guess you wont be needing the k&n filter after all! that screen you made looks very similar to the one i fabbed up. im sure you will ok with that setup. hopefully you guys will get some good vids of your runs! im pretty sure your going to have a short day at the track, especially after your first run, unless you baby it!

Haha, yea I am going to baby it unless I get a decent launch

As far as the screen goes, I will get more pics of it for you guys tomorrow and tell you how I made it.

Screen looks like a huge restriction to me. An for those wondering you can pick up screen material by the foot and cut to fit, use a simple clamp to hold it together.

Made it to the track and it was perfect weather. Unfortunately my textralia single disk was not up to the challenge. It got roasted all the way down the track But now that it has cooled off it holds the low boost tune on the street just fine......so until it doesn't work on the street anymore or I decide to get a 4l80 I guess I can't get a decent run in.

Screen didn't work out so well, but I got lucky and nothing got sucked in. The piece that is missing fell off while my tuner was holding it I will have to work on a new screen that has really strong mesh

Sorry to hear about the bad day ( clutch & screen ) What did it end up running with the slipping clutch? Don't Know if this would help you but I gained 2# of boost going to a bigger filter and adding this to the bypass return hole.

I already have the large filter and small filter on bypass port

What does it matter what it ran with a slipping clutch Clutch slipping BAD as in motor on shift light and me barely going anywhere....I will try and post the video cause it looks good until the top of first and then I got nothing....and puffs of clutch smoke came out when I shifted

But it ran a 11.5 and I gave up once I got into 4th about 3/4 way down track
