well since someone brought this back out, I will say i'm also very interested. I see some other company is trying this and has done pretty well, of course the cowl is cut, but not to important to me anyway. Someone should point out to magancharger that someone else is making it happen, so they should try once more.

Sure its not Magnacharger? Looks Identical to the Corvette one that Magnacharger distrbutes, which is a Eaton M112 housing. Hmmm..

I think it is an Eaton but I don't think that Magnuson is actually working on the kit themselves.

im not a fan of roots/grenade type blowers. I always heard of them blowing up. then when i was one car behind one at the track, it blew and peices went over the bleachers hit a couple cars. If they dont make one for the f-body, im ok with it... the less out there the safer.

I ask about this once in awhile but nothing is going on. It would be nice if some company could put one together but looking at it now, alot of companys won't produce a new product for a vehicle that isn't in production anymore

Outlaw13, After looking at the pics PSJ posted from the kit's developer...I can't help but to think this IS the vette kit, just using a reinforcement panel for the cutout cowl piece. I placed the pics posted, and the pics on Magnuson site of the vette kit, overlay them, and to the naked eye, it is the same, just has the cowl kit!
If I can get more info on available pulley selection I might continue pursueing this angle. Last year it was brought up and the answer has alwys been, it wont fit due to the cowl, but obviously you can cut the cowl and viola, she fits. The question now is, is it worth it to go thru all that trouble, and only have 500rwhp? For me, maybe not. But if I can pulley it up, for say 550-600rwhp sure, and then spray it for track days, that would make one helluva friendly setup.

Hmm I haven't heard that before, in its defense they do use these blowers very frequently in cars right from the factory, can't see them doing this if an exploding problem is such an issue, maybe its the older roots blowers that are more dangerous.
For the reliablity factor, I'd go with an eaton, they have a 100,000 mile life and oil change, plus the are relaitively quite, and I just love the low end torque they produce.

You are thinking of the roots superchargers of the old days ! The new ones are nothing like that.
