Can't wait to see this project come together bro. Leaning on doing something similar with a buddy's car for the Texas Mile.
I saw something that Dan Schonek was building over on YellowBullet, he ditched the intercooler and was going to run E98-any thought on that?
I wonder how many Walbro's we would need to run-lol!

Not trying to beat a dead horse but you don't see many 700+ rwhp cars running the 4l60,5's (for long at least). Most like me have tried to save the money and work with the 4l60,5 before finally throwing in the towel and finding a different alternative. It's really nice to finally have the trans. ???s out of the way and now be able to focus on other issues. I don't see that trans. standing up to an F2R for long if at all if it's full power is unleashed.

Well the guy that posted before you(EB Z06) has a 4l65e and is running 9.0's and beats on it all the time. I know of of alot more vettes running close to the same times or making above 900rwhp with them as well. For what this car's intentions is for it will work just fine!![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)

RPM upgraded it with even more of the billet stuff and I have full faith in that tranny, My car is no lightweight either, it tips the scales around 3600 with me in it. I think what really helps the tranny is the way the power delivery is with a blower-nice and linear. You don't get that instant torque hit of a turbo or big kit. That goes a long way in keeping it together.
A big tranny cooler that keeps the tranny nice and cool really helps as well as some other tricks in the tune with TM go a long way as well.
This season the car should easily be close to 1k at the wheels with no lock-up-I'm sure she'll stay together.

X2, More are needed. That blower is sexy.
There's a difference though. If my memory serves me correctly he has an LS2 402, AFR 225s, and the YSi. You have an LSx 427, ET 265s, and an F2. Your car will be heavier and make way more power. The only way is to wait and see.
