Its off. 40 minutes...not bad for my first time.

The MAP sensor is pretty loose in the housing. How firm should it be? Is it OK to RTV it in place?

It should be in there pretty tight. Going back about what I was talking about on the exhaust. I'm not talking about any leaks...I was talking about how it smelt when it exited the rear. The thing was burning my eyes and not did not smell like gas or rich in anyway. The closest thing I can relate it to was the nitro meth cloud I walked through.

Oh....If that fixes it. Make sure to not to run this thing until you check your AFR. Man I swear that thing was running lean when I was over there. I still think you have a vacuum leak though. Just don't want you to detonate your motor.

Well it certainly isn't rich...the plugs tell that story. This MAP was loose and wobbly. I pray this has been the problem...

Well, we're going to find out, because I just RTV'd it in place. I think I read that on here somewhere...seems like a lot of people were having problems with the MAP sensor falling out of the FAST intakes. Honestly, mine was loose as ****. I put it back in there again, and it wobbled around like crazy. I've got the RTV drying now, and it feels set in there much firmer. MUCH firmer. I'll let it dry all the way, and start bolting the manifold back on.

I was thinking maybe the vacuum leak was creating a lean condition? What a prize if this fixes the stumbling and leaning out(if it is.)

You will win the prize because you're the first one who told me to pull the manifold in the first place. Beers on me if it does it.

Just waiting on it to dry. If this doesn't fix it, I'm pushing the car into Cook Inlet.

That rtv is already dry. I thought it needed 24 hours to cure?

No, its fast drying. I couldn't move or form it with my finger before I started putting the manifold back on.

And Dustin said your a/f looks fine? Have you had a chance to hook up your wideband? If thats hooked up we can double check that reading against your o2s to see if those extensions could be bad.
