Default V-Band Assemblies, where do you buy them?

Just curious as where has decent prices on v-band assemblies. I'm doing stainless tubing for the hot side and so i'm needing to pick up 2-3 v-band assemeblies to build this.

Any suggestions on somewhere to buy good priced assemblies?

PM me if nessesary,

Thanks!

Thanks, I was also looking at mandrelbends dot com and they seemed to be decent prices but i only see the 2.5" flanges and no 2.5" clamps. I was looking at ordering my mandrel bends from them but open to cheaper places...

That's where I get mine for my kits... top notch products, and some of the best customer service around.

Locators make a huge difference. Vibrant are the same way but expensive.

Just saw those yesterday, they look like nice peices, but pricey. I don't mind spending a little extra for quality though. Anyone on here use them?

Do a search on ebay for WYNTOMN... His stainless steel v-bands are dirt cheap and they ship really quick.

ok so i got a question on this. I'm using stock 98-99 f-body manifolds and using 409 stainless piping off that then to a v-band and after the v-band will be mild steel. So i was thinkin can i use a stainless flange on the manifold side of the clamp and a mild steel flange on the other end of the clamp? I'm doing this on a budget so yes i'm cutting corners while i can. I dont see why it wouldnt work but just curious on people opinions if it would or not.

I did that with my stainless muffler to mild steel tail pipe. I just bought a stainless v band flange and clamp and a mild steel v band clamp and flange. Then used half of each, ss on one side steel on the other. The inner machined lip/ locaters didn't line up very nice, so it took a little adjustment to get it.

It is nice to have everything modular even if it costs a bit more. If you need to remove something later it makes it alot easier.

Website says they are sold out of 3" so I called.
Spoke w/ Rob...he checked and they had just received a pallet in.
He had 10 minutes til UPS arrived so he took my order over the phone and they'll be here Tuesday.
