PT88 turbo Z71 street truck Goes 9.65, 143MPH on boost only! Vid!!
Truck belongs to Stock48 on here and I built the hot parts for the PT88 turbo kit. It's a crossover log type setup with 4" down pipe and 3 1/2 full exhaust WITH muffler. 20psi of boost, 19* of timing on 93/racegas mix. Truck is a 03 daily driven Z71, RCSB, 4x4 weighing about 4950lbs. Only weight reduction was removal of tail gate. Motor was built by him and is a forged bottom end 370 with stock hand ported (by him) 317's with Isky cam. Stock intake, TB, stock 1bar MAF tuning, 4x4 launch with worn out ET streets on all 4 corners. Runs were made at SAC in Cali. Track prep was HORRIBLE and had traction problems every run all day and was hitting the revlimiter at 6800rpm before the traps every run. Need less to say, it has more in it!

wow......thats a truck load of power. I love it, esspecially the 1 bar maf tune. When was it in Vegas? The picture is at the "strip" . Is it a 4l80e? And if so , what convertor? I ve been compiling parts, my awd conversion van is getting closer. I received my rossler 4l80e, and I got the st80 a few days ago. Still need a few little things, but the 405 inch motor is about t go together for it.
wow....9's @ 143.....wow

The trany is a stock 4l80e with only a TG shift kit. The rest of the drive train is stock 4x4 1/2 ton other then the True-Trac that replaces the blown up G80. 3.73 gears. Stall I believe is a Yank 3400, but it's blowing right though that and need to be re-stalled. I believe the Vegas pic was in 07 at a Midnight Madness event when he blew up the old stock 6L running mid to low 10's with the TC76 turbo.

First off the track was perfectly fine. It was not horrible at all. They just overpowered it.
The truck was very impressive, I didnt know it was a turbo truck until it made its first pass and surprised the crap out of all of us there. Good runs.

Thanks for the complements guys I appreciate it Sorry about the shitty video, Im having trouble getting it off the camera, and onto a computer
Im just south of visalia
The conditions were killer, but track prep was FAR from what I call good. They had just ground down the launch pad, and the layer of sticky rubber was gone. Vht was almost non existant, there were bald spots, and groves showing. On the first two runs I had so much wheel shudder the front driveline was hitting the shift lever and pulling it into 2nd gear making me go right on the limiter forcing me to abort the run. As the day went on the track got better, but I was still having to launch soft to keep it out of hopp. My truck will cut mid to low 1.3 60's on a good track. All and all I was still very happy they let me make 2 9sec passes. Sac is a cool track

SWEET! We are in Fresno. You should have him covered. His truck will probably go mid 10s with the 250 pill its running now. He has been having trouble getting the 4WD to work ever since the 4L80e swap. It would be bad *** to see your two trucks get it on. Its funny enough seeing one haul *** like it does.....two would be priceless!
He wants to pull his engine out and put it in a foxbody he has. I think he should keep it in the farm truck
