That scuffing is only on the thrust side of the piston. That only happens with oil starvation and most likely during initial startup.

I did that once. I had a guy ship me a set of AFR heads that I never received. He PMed me a tracking number and it said that they were delivered, but I never got them. He was very adament that he sent them and to the correct address. I went and filed a stop pay through my bank. They got me the money back and then two days later I got the heads. He ended up sending them to my same address, but instead of 2nd street he sent them to 1st street. My neighbor down the road was nice enough to bring them in when it rained, and then carry two 25+ lb boxes down the road and drop them off at my house. I resent the seller the money and everything was good.

This though is obviously not an issue of improperly writing a shipping address. I paid through paypal that is connected to my checking account. My bank took care of it in less than 24 hours. Your credit card should be able to do the same thing.

^ You shouldn't have an issue. I went to my bank, filled out a piece of paper, and by the next day had my $1900 back in my account. After I told them how I paid and that I hadn't received anything when it said it was delivered they didn't ask a single question. If you start mentioning rings, scuffing, pistons, rods, etc.. they will have no idea what you are talking about anyways.

In the pictures on post 37 you said the pitting on the piston tops look like detonation. It looks more to me like someone blew the ends of the spark pugs off and they were rolling around the chamber until they were exhausted. Unfortunaly I know first hand what that looks like.

Daniel is denying me the refund because "I used the product and took it apart". LOL. Thats what he told paypal when I opened the dispute. Looks like its going to be done the hard way.

So sad to hear another story of someone getting ripped off. Seems like it happens daily. I'm no longer buying used stuff because its too hard to trust people now. Especially on motors. Good luck to you man.

It is hilarious when you call them. They all use the same name. I forget what it is off the top of my head, but every time I called them I talked to someone with the same name with a very different voice.
