Callies rods
Wiseco pistons
Hellfire rings
WCCH Stage 2 317s
A&A Stage 4 blower cam

Built 700R4 800+HP
Manual valve body
B&M Quicksilver ratchet shifter
Derale tranny cooler
Gforce drive shaft

TVS 1900
Overdriven rear
Innovators West 8-Rib with overdriven crank
3.0 snout pulley

Fuel System
Undecided. Going to first try a full return with a single Walbro. If that doesnt work I will proceed to a dual tank with stock pumps.

Current state
I sold my stock shortblock and T56 along with the clutch and a bunch of other small things. The 347 is purchased and should be here next week. I also baught the 700R4. Its currently in customs attempting to cross the canadian border. I just happened to stumble on the exact 700R4 I wanted to purchase new for a 1/4 of the price. The shop is local to me so Ill just drop the tranny off with them and have them go through it.

My helper hard at work

Bumblebee awaiting on the All Spark

Derale transmission cooler

***** demodd

Here is the B&M Quicksilver ratchet shifter. Played with it a little and I cant wait to put it in

SPAL fans that I got from xBOOSTx. Small, or big, problem. The fans are on/off only and the GTO wiring has three wires for hi/low. Not sure how Im going to make this work. Any ideas?
Edit: Figured it out. The high and low power wires are combined together since each one is ona separate relay.

That should be a really fun project. Did you ever put that 224/228 cam I sold you in the car?

Yeah I used it with the stock shortblock and TVS1900. It made a lot of torque. However when I pulled it one of the lobes was messed up so I went with another proven cam.

Been having trouble deciding on the what fuel system to run. Priority is given to simplicity and cost effective. My goal is 650-700 RWHP. However its hard to say what the car will really make because this particular combo has not been done yet. I have a few ideas and MANY hours of research.

1) Use the stock bucket with a Bosch 044 modified with a sock and a full return.

2) Use current bucket with Walbro 255 (bypassing the stock restrictive filter) and feeding an inline Bosch 044 to a full return.

3) Surge tank being fed by stock tank. Two external Walbro 255s with a boost referenced hobs switch.

I listed them in the order of preference. There was a guy that did the first setup in a GTO and he was at the limit with 650 RWHP. However this was not with a return style system so Im guessing the was more room for the pump to grow

Also motor is going to be here tomorrow and the trans is being inspected.

Who else thinks that these walls are trashed? The entire driver side bank is like this.

I bought it on here. it supposedly only had 200 miles on it with a few passes. There is def no crosshatching on any of the cylinders.

I would take it to a machine shop and have it looked at.

that really is awful, ive pulled apart motors with thousands of miles on them that still clearly had defined crosshatch. those cylinders are scored pretty deep, somebody screwed you, whether they knew it at the time or not.
