Cool Went to the track yesterday...

Finally hit my goals today... 10s at 130+, drive there and home.

Now its time to put a real motor in it and see what happens.

I love seeing 10 sec cars drive to the track and then back home. Not very common and it's impressive.

Good job, you have more left in it with that mph. I daily drive mine with it running 10.5s, it gets expensive keeping it together when you race as much as I do. But it's worth it. What new set up are you planning?

Nice run!!! That's a great feeling when it hooks that good and the time slip is rewarding.

I like your video better than mine in my sig. You can see your whole run.

Our cars pretty much spot on as far as performance, I also put down 560 rwhp. Mine was stick though.

Very much so. Gotta love riding there and riding home. I'd love a vette, but the kids don't fit in the backseat.

Thanks guys, heres another video.... the guy I raced has a SRT8 gutted with tires and I think its got a lot of spray too. It was a fun race.

Its a little shaky at first but it steadies once we stage.

Sounds fun. I spent the last few hours looking at what I will need to do to install this pt88. I ran 10.58 at 130 mph tuesday. Shifting at 5k rpms. Why? Cause I have turbo running full boost and that's 15 to 17 depending on temps. But it drops to 8 psi by 5500 rpm and slows down.

This is with my current worn out pt67 on stock short block with 917 heads. However my output shaft on t56 snapped and destroyed tail housing and I installed the built to the moon Th400 the next day. Been waiting on drive shaft. But I'm hoping to get in 9s with the pt88. I'm gonna boost her till she pushes water or splits open. Or till track kicks me out. I'm thinking 15 to 20 psi with shifting at 5800 it should get me in the 9s. Then in goes the Built 408. Kinda regret not just going with a 370 though.

Damn.. 10.50s shifting at 5K... thats impressive! Ive actually thought about a smaller pulley on my D1SC to bring the ramp up in the lower RPMs but then shift a little earlier. Revving the **** out of my LS1 stock bottom end is what worries me. My next goal is to get a built motor in it before this one lets go. *knock on wood*
