AFR is low-mid 11s on E85. Out of 4 stock motors on E85, running 16-20 degs and mid teens in boost I have yet to see a piston crack on my tune ups. My first 5.3, I lost a ringland on pump gas, but it was at 12lbs and 13 degrees.

What turbos would you recomend for twins on the same setup? Is the intercooler required on e85?

If you are staying with EFI then I would try and stick with some kind of intercooler or do atleast a water injection set up. On a friends car we tried no intercooler with a 5.3/TC78 and at 8lbs we had IATs going over 200F pretty quick, so we added an IC. I have yet to mess with water injection to see if it would keep the IATs in an acceptable range. H

ow much are you wanting to spend on twins? Precisions 6262 would do really well, or masterpower 61s.

In the third gen with the flipped manifold setup, is there any K-member clearance issues? Besides re-locating the alternator, what else did you have to change. And which manifolds are you using?
Im curious too.

It took a little while to figure out the manifold set up, I'm not 100% sure what the manifolds I used came off of.

It would actually be an E85 blowthru carb setup. I would imagine the atomization of the methanol under boost through out the intake and head runners would lower IAT alot. Lots of guts running over 15#s with setups like this with IATs in range.

In your opinion would it be easier to spool dual MP61s or a single MP76 under cruise then floored acceleration with a light car? I have the room to run either setup. Of course price would be higher with two turbos and two wastegates.

5.3 - then do the single 76, if a 6.0 do the twins. Blow through E85 shouldn't need an intercooler at 15lbs.
