ok kool thx, now what about WITH the FMIC, also dont forget about the cam im throwin in that has to bump up power by about 40 or more rwhp.

I didn't forget about the cam. With an fmic and the cam, you can break 500 @ 8 psi. With my original stock '98 motor, mine did 485 with fmic, gt67 at 8-9 psi. That was with the stock cam and the poorly flowing '98 heads. Had meth on the car as well, but didn't tune with it ... just turned it on in the summers as a safety measure.

Hey guys im going the same route with an sts.and my question is with the stock manifolds do i need to run with stock cats?or wat do u guys think?i would appreciate any help.

no you can run cats if you want to, me no I am not taking that chance of something ruining the turbo (it's way to expensive to replace). If you are in a place that visually checks for them just take them off hollow them out or get some straight pipes the look like cats. But the STS is made for the stock car or at least that is what they advertise.

you don't have to stick with the STS FMIC you can get an ebay one or one from some other place. The only thing you have to figure out is the piping. STS is pretty stingy when it comes to getting parts from them, even if you have one get damaged. Many people have done it before STS offered it so ask a few people like the rearmount pioneers because they have some good advice to help out with how to's

Sorry to just jump in. I'm thinking of going with the STS rear mount kit also. How do you guys thingk it would work with my current set up? (Mods in Sig.) The cam is about 232/234 114lsa
