Methanol also effectively raises octane when present as well. Some say as high as 115 or so.

I suggest dual in tank walbros....

I do not use meth injection, 17psi pump gas (91)...

Meth injection lowers you iats and also raises the octane of your fuel.... depending on the mix ratio of water and meth... both alow you to run a lot more timing without detonation.

The winter washer fluid that doesn't foam when you shake it seems to work great and its cheap! I believe that you benefit more from a mix of water and meth than you do from straight meth.

I don't like to rely on meth with a car that is street driven a lot because its just one more thing to worry about.

^^^everything that 1 BAD LS1 just said, most guys run 50/50 water to meth, but the winter washer fluid is actually recommended by several of the Meth kit makers, because its cheap and easy to get. The water is used to actually soak up the heat, it does this better than strait meth. the meth raises the octane level.

I plan to run meth to be safe, but i also love the 30 sec long highway runs lol. basically im going to set it up so that i have an on/off switch for the meth, my tune will be pump gas safe but when i do a long WOT run ill turn the meth on to keep the IAT's from creeping up.

Yes and no. Most recommend running water (they dont tell you this) because their pumps cant tolerate pure meth. Alky control kits can . Quite a few tuners say just run straigh meth. There is no arguing that pure meth is more effective than washer fluid. It comes down to economy and if the pump will tolerate the fluid(pure methanol) or not. Lets face it, washer fluid is cheap and easy. Just good enough for most.
