Default budget twin build plan, input welcome

okay so i've put together a plan on paper and am looking for some input before i unleash the gods of visa.

turbos: modular turbo twin kit IF THEY EVER RELEASE IT!!!!! with ball bearing TC76's

motor: forged 347 short block (see question below), PRC stage 2.5 ls6 heads, ported ls2 intake, holley 90mm tb, VA speed turbo cam (see question below).

questions below:

1. should i go with diamond or wiesco pistons? i hear that diamonds may be quieter (this is going to be a street car) but the wiescos are made and finished better? i'll probably end up going with eagle or scat rods.

2. are these the right size turbos for my application (street car and road racing)? or should i go with 67's or maybe 78's??

3. do you think the VTC-1 or VTC-2 would be a better cam for me?

4. what do you think the max power i can make out of this setups is? which component(s) is holding me back the most?

thanks in advance for any advice you can lend!!

For choosing the turbos what are your power goals?
Other then that take the number how much it was going to cost on paper and double it.

For a stock CI block..a single or 2 very small twins like 60s. I dont know why everyone wants to go twins, its cheaper and easier to go single and you can easily get to 1000hp with a single.

Psi is just a number.
Get a 60-62mm turbo for your goals

stock cubes allow me to keep my drivetrain costs down. if i went 427 right off the bat i'd have to upgrade my clutch and tranny and rear...

staying 347 limits me to a max of around 700rwtq which will let me keep my current tick stage 2 t56 and monster 3 and 12-bolt

as for the turbos i'm now thinking 60's btw

Even twin 60s will have stupid high lag to them and will be pretty unenjoyable to drive.

I thought most twin kits used ~60mm turbos. IIRC APS turbos were right around 60mm and the GT35Rs are too. I may be wrong tho, I'm going off shaky memories here...if i am wrong, what size turbos do most twin kits use for stock cube applications?

If you don't want to wait. I am pulling my APS kit off my car since it's not big enough for my setup. If you are interested that option is availible and its a full bolt on kit that should be plenty for a 347. And the kit has maybe 500 miles on it.

twin 60's will be just fine, as long as you choose one with an appropriate a/r housing for your motor

I would run a diamond piston. You could also just run the tc76 as a single??

It should make decent power, what else does the shortblock consist of ??

What is your goal for the car?

rest of the shortblock is going to be either eagle h-beam or callies rods and factory crank.

goals for certain: ~700rwhp (up to 800 if i can get it), car must be DDable (hence the small motor, mild cam combo), maybe a trip or two to the track but mostly open track days and street driving (not a drag car).

A 347 doesn't have a limit of 700rwt

also if your wanting 800rw the I'd go around the 62 mm turbos if you want two turbos.
