Default ebay kit guys...spark plugs

HOLY ****. What a huge pain in the *** #3 and 5 were. I would give my left nut to have had them taken half the time that they did(30 mins) just to get out. This kit makes me want to murder my mother. Sweet merciful lord....

That is all.

Ya finally got it back, and got everything I took off installed. I honestly cant really read plugs. The tips were varying shades of white depending on which cylinder. It was dark everywhere else, including all the way down the shaft.

So your battery was dead and you didn't get to fire it? That's a bummer...

I changed my plugs over when I was installing the kit before I put the headers in and I pray to dear sweet infant baby jesus that I NEVER have to mess with them again...cause I'm pretty sure I'll end up stabbing myself in the eye with one of said spark plugs.

a modified sparkplug socket (like the one SLP sells) and a 19mm ratcheing wrench usually does the trick for me in tight spaces.

I have the same kit... I found it extremely easier to take the driver side header off to change the plugs. I know it sucks but it is way faster than fumbling and dropping and cracking brand new plugs. I have changed mine three times this way and it takes about 1.5 hours to do if you have everything. I am using ARP manifold bolts with the allen head. I shortened a allen wrench to do the inner bolts. This is the best way I have found to deal with it.

Also I found that taking the coil packs off the driver side when doing this makes a huge difference. I also found that Tralblazer ss or trailblazer with the 5.3 plug wires work great for these kits becouse of the 90 degree plug boot. You can also keep those neat metal heat shields on most of them, That will stop some of the burnt plug wire issues. No need to spend $80 on high dollar plug wires.

No thanks. #'s 3 and 5 are the only problems. You just end up getting a cramped hand. I've got pretty big mits and I still got it done.
