George has the true t76s on the shelf at TTi. don`t remember for sure what he wanted for one but I do remember his price was pretty decent. I`d also recomend that you make sure and get the Q-trim exhaust on the 76. George said even on the 60-1 just switching from the p-trim it comes with to the Q-trim will net about 50hp gain.

Wow, that's good to know.

For a built motor, you think a T76 would be the best choice? I don't want to run out of turbo, and it seems like you can cram some air into these motors.

The 76 will be plenty of turbo for stock Cubes. it`s good up to around 800rwhp.

BS!! If a t-76 with 66 housing has the same flow as a full t-76, turbonetics would only use one compressor housing. The t-66 compressor housing and backplate is smaller. I believe the smaller compressor increases the velocity of the boosted air which creates heat. The intercooler is already overloaded and the t-66 housing doesn't help. IF George believes they flow the same.....he claims the intercooler is good for 600+hp....then why does Robs kit make so MUCH more power per psi?

the intercooler isnt as good, the piping is smaller, the log is smaller, all of those items will effect the overall performance of the kit

My primary guess would be tuning, TT did NOT tune their kits when you look at the dyno. A boost-a-pump was used. We all know that tuning will make you or break you. Secondly, the turbo used is a factor since I believe Rob is using the almighty Q-trim that I so desire. (wiping drool)

The log and piping are really not a huge deal, unless you are going to make crazy power, which even though I have the supporting parts to do it, will probably not push it too far (yeah, right... ).
