but what about driving on long trips. to meets and things like that i dont like turning 2500rpm at 65mph. if i do this i have 3.42 gear right now, and im going to be making around 700 to the wheels with a auto. im going to need a 28inch tall tire for sure. 295/45/17 for the street and 275/60 or 295/55 for my pro-stars.

who should i get a converter from?
sorry eagle for getting off topic. i think i need to go for a ride in some one car that makes around the same power i want to make to get a idea

Agreed, it FEELS slower with the TH400 on the street. But you gotta know damn well that the car is going to be faster at the track.
