Modified G-trim progress-> Building up my 348 ci G-trim combo a bit.
I am looking to get as much out of this Head Unit as possible and felt the stock Vortech plumbing could be improved upon.
Hand built 2.5" outlet and 4" inlet finished with Thermo-Tec wrap.
8"/2.5" pulley combo.
Mondo Bypass and still need to build a new methanol system.
Goal is low 10's at 130+mph. It's a 98 TA A4

11secLS1- If you look at the other pics,one of them shows the 85mm maf slip fits inside the big 4" aluminum elbow.
John, oh yeah, this is good hose-
Sizes from 3/4" to 12"
Cost me 15$ per foot from Mcmaster.com It can also handle 16psi-18" vacuum. But it only has to flow air for me. Lot's of air!

High-temperature silicone-coated fiberglass hose has a smoother bore than neoprene-coated hose. Use it to convey hot air, dust, and fumes when temperatures exceed the normal limits of rubber. Ideal for glass manufacturing and arc lamp venting, engine-compartment air handling, and turbine-bleed air ducting. Hose is odorless and holds up well over extended use.

• Construction: Orange-red, 2-ply fiberglass fabric with silicone coating
• Reinforcement: Spring-steel wire helix and a fiberglass cord bonded to cover
• Temperature Range:
-75° to +500° F
• Compressibility: 1.5 to 1 for hose with 3 1/2" and smaller IDs; 2 to 1 for 4" and larger IDs.
