car acting weird on dyno! I just put a p1sc kit on the car with a "8lb" pulley.
The car was getting tuned today and so far it has only made 20 more hp than before on motor. when the car gets to 5k rpm it falls hard on its face. we think the plugs are shot from being so rich on the drive to his shop bc the map sensor was bad. Its also misfireing. Only made 5lb so far. and havent put any timing in yet.
changing the plugs in the morning then trying again.

I was wondering the same thing, did you install the 60 pound injectors and then drive it over to get it tuned? Bob

Have you checked the fuel pressure at high rpms? Im running a similar setup and had a single racetronics with hotwire kit and kept running out of fuel at 5500rpms. My fuel pressure would drop as low as 25psi and I could feel it start to die off and it looks like your engine will breathe more than mine she's bone stock except for the LS6 intake with 125000 miles on her. I put one of Lonnies twin pump setup on it today and completly fixed my problem.
All he needs is single pump for now and worry about twin pump later . Likely he drowned his plugs driving over untuned for the 60s.
So yeah it nees afr dialed in to around 11.5 or 11.8 you could start a bit richer.And you don't add timing to boosted engines you take it out. You could be slow from drowned plugs, super rich afr. You could have lots of knock retard if you are at stock timing.
Get these things figured it and would think you should be at least 500rwhp at even 5psi.
You need to run about a heat range colder plug like tr6 or tr6ix and gap them around.028/.030 should be fine.
I assume you are still running maf not trying to go right to speed density although speed density is not that hard to run.

got it fixed and it made 430hp and 470trq, through a spool 12 bolt. doesnt hit 5lb till about 5500. max power was at like 5700. the air temp has been 90s all week so im sure thats not helping either lol. af is 111 safe side for now
i should have kept the fast 90 with it, i now have the ls6 on it.
my tr224 cam is hot helping any with 112 lsa. but going to get a smaller pulley and run 10lb.
