2002 Camaro ss overheating
You have to remember when you use the a/c it draws on the motor...creating heat and energy. Motor has to work harder to run the pump. I would say changing your thermostat...cooler setting example 150 degree from say 160 degree. If that doesn't work, well then I say the a/c has to go. Are you using a stock radiator? If so, what is its condition? Is still in good shape?
T-stat should not be an issue unless it is not working at all which does not seem to be the problem because it is only when the ac is on.
I would upgrade to a high flow water pump. Possible look at a better radiator than stock.
