Default D1SC Cam?

What would be the best cam for a D1SC?

Also plan on running 100 shot wet kit.

Also what injectors?

Do you have a motor to support that combo?

For stock cubes I would stay under 220 for duration, that will give you minimal overlap, keep it no less than 114lsa

I am planning the build up. Was thinking of going with a LS6 block. Any ideas on the block?

Need specifics on the cam.

I want to run 11s without touching the engine or power adder. Then add a LS6 intake. Then add the Procharger, heads and cam. Then the fun will begin with the bottom end build up. And lastly the 100 shot.

Any input would be much appreciated.

Bigger then 42's.... i can tell ya that.

Im shooting for 10.50's @ 130 and the formula i worked out said i needed at least 625 fly wheel hp to make a 3640 pound car do that. In the end i needed over 300L and hr of fuel and at least a 58.7# injecter. So the Siemens 57#ers at a 3 bar are 66# at out 4 bar fuel pressure are the biggest in high impedence injectors you can buy. So figure out how much boost you are going to run and then on the juice and go from there.
My cam will be a 234/240 .595/.605 on a 114 or 115 but im a 383.
I want to run a 50 dry shot also later down the road......

I would go with a set of 6.0L heads with some big CC chambers to lower the comp for boost.....

I've have great luck with the R1 on stock cubes. 232/236 .574/.579 114 It gave me almost 60rwhp compared to the T1. 221/221 .558/.558 112

Im going to go with either a 234/240 .595/.610 on a 115LSA or a 236/242 .595/.610 on a 115LSA But i mine will be in a 383.

I'm still up in the air of what to do for a next cam........its looking like something in the 230's for duration

I liked the 226/234 .590/.600 115lsa idea or 232/238 .590/.600 115lsa

I called MTI today and they said that the R1 cam would idle like stock in my 383.
Phenyx how does that cam sound?? I like the idea of you picking up that much HP.......
What RPM do you shift at??
What are you spinning you D1-SC to??
What size Pulleys??

It's lopey as hell, but I never had it rutuned after switching cams. I've only got my idle set at 900rpm. I'm shifting at 6800. Right now I'm getting 6#'s with a 3.60" blower pulley and the stock crank pulley that came with the kit. I think it might be 8"? The cam got me 4mph in the 1/4 compared to the T1.
