I have a ls6 intake on my car. Picked up the MSD 3 bar map with the ls1speed pigtail. My question is..do i just leave the stock map sensor in the back of the intake? Then with the vaccum nipple on the back of the ls6 intake..do i T it off to the new map sensor? Or do i just cap that nipple..and run the vaccum line straight to the 3 bar map sensor. thanks guys

Can't you just plug the stock MAP sensor line to the new MAP sensore and the plug off the nipple on the old one? Just wondering as this is what I did. Haven't fired it up yet though.

Guys, what's the best way to get pressure signal to 3-bar MAP? I'm going to leave stock MAP in place, just in case. Do I tee into the line under the stock MAP that goes to the front?
edit: think I found it. Rubber line comes easily off the intake near stock MAP sensor; I think I'll put T-piece in there so that it gets the cleanest possible signal.

not necessarily. i used black rtv on that black bulkhead fitting of the intake to help it seal under high boost.
the part you need to see is the 1/8 npt fitting that was drilled/tapped in place of the original female map hole. and the 3 bar sensor zip tied to the brake booster line

How close would you put the 3-bar to the opening you tapped into? I'm asking because I have my 3-bar a good foot from the port I tapped into and am trying to figure out why my car won't idle right.
