Default Considering pair of GT-K 650 for 408 pump gas build

I have lined up a deal on a pair of lightly used GT-K 650 turbos for my pump gas 408 build in my street/strip '69 Nova. What is the consensus on the GT-K Turbonetics line? Most folks say that ball bearing turbos will not make a difference on a 400+ CI engine, but if I can get a half price deal on them then why not? The T66 compressor map (x2) is a nice fit for a 408, but I don't have a good feel on the .68 A/R exhaust housing. What rpm will that limit me to? I plan to use C6 exhaust manifolds with short hot side piping and run dual 3" down pipes. So if it were you would you buy the used GT-Ks or buy new journal bearing turbos for a similar price?

GT-k are just t series with fake shroud porting (looks cool though) and coated turbine housings. as far as .68 housing people use .68 with twin mp70's all the time. the gt-k's with the f1 turbine wheel should flow more so i don't see that as an issue.

well, I worked out a decent deal (less than ½ list price), so I went ahead and bought the GT-Ks. They look good in the trunk of my car. Now I have to get busy and cram them under the hood of my Nova. I have a lot to learn about turbo plumbing now. I plan to use C6 manifolds and a front mount air-to-air.
