LS2 intake with D1sc - Any thoughts?

Default LS2 intake with D1sc - Any thoughts?

I am thinking about changing my current setup of stock ported TB and LS6 intake to N/W 90mm and LS2 intake.

I know LS2 intakes don't flow like the FAST and probably aren't even comparable when you're looking at N/A setup, but how do you think it will flow with a boosted setup?

I have found both the TB and intake at good prices and bought each. I would just like some thoughts/suggestions from other FI guru's.

We picked up about 60 rwhp at the old shop when we swapped out a LS2 intake for a FAST 92, on a CTS-V that had a ProCharger F-1A on it. We lost 2 psi of boost too, so the LS2 intake had to be pretty restrictive. Bob

I don't have any but the LS6 intake is considered to be a superior intake naturally aspirated, and I would expect to see the same results when forced induction is used. Bob

The ported ls6 intake will give you more at the lower end of your pull, The ported ls2 intake will give you more at the top end of the pull. I have a ls2 ported on my car now. I like the set up on her. 857 rwhp on a Mustang dyno. To me when you get up in the 700 plus rwhp the cost really isnt worth what just a few more hp are. Unless you are going for the big 1,k. At these # in the vette to hard to get hooked up what it has even at in the 700 rwhp #,s.

Car makes 730 now with the stock TB and LS6. I picked up a LS2 intake and NW TB for less than I expected so thats the only reason I decided to swap. I really wish the car didn't have to make 17lbs to see that much power so i'm really wanting to drop a few psi.

i had a similar oppertunity to pick up a ls2 for a little of nothing...but when i asked my tuner about it he said buy a fast 92 or new 102 or keep your ls6..still saving for the 102/102....
