You're not going to fit two M90s under the hood of a 4th gen without major surgery. I can tell you right now that it isn't worth the amount of work with so many other options out there.

Yeah, no way two could ever be crammed into a 4th gen. I'm still thinkin that one would be a possibility though. Pocket is probably right about loosing the a/c.

People told me it was impossible to fit two under the hood of a 3rd gen too. Never say it's impossible until you try it

I've seen that done before so I know that's plausible. I've held an M90 from a thunderbird and one from a grand prix. I seriously doubt you could fit one between the frame rails and oil pan where the AC compressor is. Even if you did you'd have an even harder time fitting a discharge and intake on it.

Because I built the 3rd gen one and people said it was impossible when I was building it. My point isnt that something will or will not fit. The point is that you cant know until someone tries it. So far no one has attempted a M90 on a 4th gen LS1, let alone two. The closest was a successful M112 on a LT1 with a custom intake manifold and the blower in the standard roots position

I commend your work, but perhaps you were asking in the wrong spot. I've seen a couple of them on thirdgen.org alone. One was quite a few years ago. I had the picture saved on my old computer, but when it crashed I lost 6 months of pictures.

"You're not going to fit two M90s under the hood of a 4th gen without major surgery."

I didn't say it was impossible. Anything is possible with enough money and time. Would it be worth the amount of work? I say not with so many other options out there. The only way I could possibly see mounting two of them in there is either on the top like the dragon kits or removing ac, relocating the alternator, and mounting them down low. Either way it would be an absolute **** ton of work.

Had to go get the car on sat

The BOV simply cant vent enough air at idle to even begin a base tune, so Im re-doing a few things. Damned thing was building like 10psi

FMIC kit is ordered, small cam, hopefully mod some headers before I take the car back. MAF is moving to before the blower, so the PCV system needs to change, BOV to bypass valve, MAF sensor connector split from incorporating the IAT to a separate one near the TB

Unfortunately, every change has a snowball effect. With the FMIC ducting, the batt has to move. Since the batt moved, the 4th gen overflow tank has to move, then the battery tray hole will just look awful so itll have to be welded back up, then new tanks fabbed and relocated, then new cables made

Trimmed verticle support. Strait shot. Bypass valve will be mounted here and recirculated to the SC inlet

Just needs a 90*. No, the BOV will not be mounted there. Tubing after the reducer is for the IAT to be as close to the TB as possible

Nothing wrong with a FMIC that butts up against the rad, if you have good airflow and ducting to force the air through both.

Fog lights are too far out to the sides to let any amount of air in. An air dam setup works pretty darn good from watching numerous builds on TGO

This reminds me of the Kenne Belle I had on my 5.9R/T Dakota.

Two thumbs up!

Awesome build.

So whats your total estimated cost of the build including supercharger, belt, materials, etc.

OH AND HEY POCKET

DONT LET PEOPLE HATE ON YOU OR GET YOU DOWN WITH THEIR "YOU CANT DO IT BECAUSE I DONT HAVE THE ***** TO TRY" ATTITUDE!!!

I had a 5.9 R/T Dakota with a Kenne Belle twin screw and a 125 shot on a stock long block that ran 12.88@108.

The "Professionals and Experts" couldnt explain it!

You can do it, and more importantly you're gonna do it regardless of what they say.

A-D-M-I-R-A-B-L-E is what we call that.

Good job. Keep a fabbin'!

Nice work. Can't wait to hear some feedback and see some in-car videos.

Have you ever thought about making a custom air cleaner box that would use the air from the cowl hood? Sort of like a stock car air cleaner. I'd love to make something like that that would use a stock size flat air filter. Probably not too difficult to make. If I ever do something like that then I'd have to see how well my mig welder could handle aluminum for a custom air box.

Thanks for the pictures!
