Default getting a ls1 to 600whp using a p1sc?

ok guys. got a forged short block sitting on my engine stand. its 9.0:1 diamond pistons and eagle h beam rods.. ls1 motor..
the rest of the motor isnt assembled yet but its all stock parts for now.. this is a 2002 motor so i do have the ls6 intake.

I also already bought long tube kooks headers and will be getting dual 2.5" catless exhaust installed once its back in.

this is going through a t56 transmission in a 2002 camaro..

I have a p1sc system to install on it. I am shooting for 600whp out of this.. what all do I need to get there ya guys think and what boost levels with a good tune?

rear end has nothin to do with him making 600 hp..if anything the 10 bolt will produce higher dyno numbers..

I would suggest 8 rib, blower cam, 12psi, and atleast some 243s since you are already at 9.0-1, and a good fuel system (2 walbros,hobbs,60 lb injectors) oh yeah and a clutch..

ok so a decent set of heads, a fuel system of course.. and a good blower cam it seems to be the ticket, and of course over 10psi..

The ProCharger LS1 F Body 6 rib kit comes with a small 6.0 crank pulley. To make decent boost you will need to go to a larger crank pulley. The ProCharger 8 rib upgrade comes with a 7.65 crank pulley, which will make it much easier to get the boost you'll be needing.

I would also install a larger air filter in place of the standard ProCharger supplied filter. The standard ProCharger air filter becomes restrictive and we've seen boost increases of 2 psi in many cases by swapping to a larger air filter.

Our blower cam will give you a large increase in power. You will need better valvesprings, the Patriot Gold valvesprings work very well, either the pn# 8401 or Extreme 8501 will do. Stronger pushrods are recommended too. Comp 7955-16 work very well.

A set of Patriot LQ9 Stage 11 heads, which come with the 8401 valvesprings, combined with out blower cam, Comp pushrods, and 10 psi of boost would get you into the 600 rwhp range you are looking for. Bob

Needs the heads to move the air and the valvetrain to hold up. With the cam as he told you above should have 600 plus with no problem with a good tuner and just for ins put a D/shot of meth down her.

Heres an 00 Vette, AFR 205s, Trak Cam, LG Pros, and a P1-SC showing a measly 7 psi, pretty good numbers I'd say.

The Patriots are indeed a good deal, and include the Patriot Gold valvesprings. Bob
