This is exactly why you should never ask questions like this on the internet.
Call all of the reputable turbo dealers you can find and get there recomendations. Find the vender you like and follow his recomendations.

Ditto. I'm running a 76mm on a 370ci to give you an idea.

What RPM you plan on turning the motor makes a HUGE difference as well.

it was a complete joke, actually. It kinda irks me when i see threads like this because its obvious the OP hasent done any homework whatsoever. If your building a turbo setup yourself and you cant pick what size turbo you need then you had better rethink what your trying to do.

Not to mention, YOUR RIGHT. questions like that should be left to the reputable turbo dealers

Go with what DrTurbo reccomends or some of the more seasoned guys... but just off of what you posted... I would say a 76GTS will do your goals easy.

I would go with the largest you can afford/fit.

You're ALWAYS going to want more than what you think.

That's a very bad strategy aswell.

You'll want a T6 exh housing for sure. I'd say atleast 80mm on the front. If I were putting a single on a 408 for street duty, I'd use 91-94mm. That will make LOTS of power. More than double your target and would require LOTS of supporting mods.

For that 408, a BW 80mm will do the trick. If you want more their is the GT88 and GT91 which are mid-frame in size and will pack BIG power.
