How much you want to spend? AEM Truboost on the lower end. AMS 500 and 1000 on the middle to high end.

Solenoids are the same, just depends on what all you want it to do. All i wanted was to cruise around on 9psi, and have 18psi at the push of a button

Running eboost 2 but currently only have it hooked up to monitor have not hooked up the solenoids yet so it can control boost. I plan on running gear based boost with it. Think that will work good on the street.
Have aem tru boost in my 91 race talon. Haven't hooked it up yet but will soon.

I run the eboost2 in the Camaro, The mustang is just a washer machine controller, which I would like to just do a cheap solenoid set up. So it bypasses or doesn't bypass the controller, so it would have the high low boost effect.
