I called the company this morning, the guy was really cool and was honest in saying id be fine with the basic kit because even if i ran out of parts, i could just build 3 of the harder runners, then build the easy one after the others were done.. seems like a solid idea to me!

but everyone is gonna talk up their own product, if i was selling bronze, youd better believe id market it as gold, ya know?

I'm building a set of turbo headers at the moment and i have a solid 15 hours of work in them and they arent even at the final weld stage yet. i got the flanges, 1 3/4" piping and collectors from Summit Racing and just spent some time with a sawzall and grinder. i will post progress pics if you are interested? it's work but i only have about $150 bucks total invested in these so far

id love to see some pics of it bro, are you using ice engine works or are you just fabbing them the old fashioned way?

I fabbed a custom exhaust for my buddys 8 second mustang, that was a ******* pita, but it only took me 10 hours for both sides, but i do have a lot of nice tools and have had a lot of experience fabbing things up... and my mind just kinda works like that.. but please do show progress pics!

i think if i bought it, and made some nice headers, id just sell the headers to people that needed them when i had some free time for a fair price... or rent them out, idk id need a full deposite for them though

iceengineworks makes some really nice stuff. If you have the coin, do it. It will save you so much in material and labor cost.

ive done custom manifolds before, for 4 bangers, 40 hours is a LOT man, but you did say custom headers, and thats a lot more piping than a small turbo manifold

Yeah, that was usually for long tubes made from stainless, but sometimes V8 turbo manifolds also, because many of the guys wanted something front-mounted and everything has to fit just right...are you on Oahu?
